HUIT Trade Union Reviews 2025 "Good at Public Work, Adept at Housework" Movement and Launches 2026 Campaign

 

On the morning of March 22, 2026, the Trade Union of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade (HUIT) solemnly organized a program to review the "Good at Public Work, Adept at Housework" emulation movement for 2025 and launch the campaign for 2026. This is a meaningful activity aimed at recognizing and commending the outstanding contributions of female trade union members and employees in their work, teaching, and research, while honoring women who strive to nurture their homes and preserve the fine values of Vietnamese families.

Speaking at the ceremony, Meritorious Teacher, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hoan – Secretary of the Party Committee and Rector of the University, highly appreciated the sense of responsibility, dedication, and persistent contributions of the female trade union members over the past year. He affirmed that the results achieved from the emulation movement not only contribute to improving the quality of trade union activities but also play a vital role in building a civilized and progressive educational environment where every staff member, lecturer, and employee has the conditions to develop their capacity, affirm their self-worth, and contribute to the sustainable development of the University.

In 2025, the "Good at Public Work, Adept at Housework" movement continued to be implemented widely and received an enthusiastic response from female officials and employees across the university. From this movement, many typical examples were discovered and promoted, contributing to affirming the image of HUIT women as dynamic, responsible, dedicated, courageous, and full of aspiration for contribution in the new era.

During the program, the University honored and rewarded 126 outstanding female trade union members for their achievements in the 2025 emulation movement. these are typical individuals who not only successfully completed their professional tasks and actively contributed to the general development of their units but also maintained the "fire" of family happiness and spread noble human values within the community.

The program took place in a solemn atmosphere, leaving many positive impressions on delegates and attendees. This is not only a worthy recognition for the silent but persistent contributions of female trade union members but also a profound affirmation of the role, position, and beautiful values that HUIT women are daily cultivating for the University, their families, and society.

At the ceremony, the University Trade Union Executive Committee continued to launch the emulation movement for the new academic year 2025-2026. Through this launch, the Trade Union hopes to continue promoting the fine traditions of Vietnamese women and building the image of modern HUIT women who are confident, creative, responsible, and compassionate.
