On the morning of January 27, 2026, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade (HUIT) collaborated with the Party Committee, People's Committee, and Youth Union of Trung My Tay Ward, District 12, to organize the Inauguration Ceremony for a green space and children's playground. The event also featured the presentation of gifts to difficult households in the ward as part of the Spring Volunteer Campaign 2026.

Attending the program were leaders of the Party Committee, People's Committee, and Youth Union of Trung My Tay Ward; leaders of the Party Committee and Youth Union of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade; along with representatives of local residents, children, and a large number of volunteer soldiers participating in the campaign.

The green space and children's playground project were completed with a total budget of 30 million VND. The project included decorative wall murals, the installation of play equipment such as slides and spring riders, tree planting, and landscape renovation in the ward's park area. Volunteer soldiers directly participated in the construction, ensuring the project was completed on schedule and officially put into use. This contributes to creating a green, clean, beautiful, and safe community space for local children and residents.

In addition to the inauguration, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade presented 10 gift sets of essential necessities to difficult households in Trung My Tay Ward. While the material value of the gifts is modest, they represent the care, sharing, and sense of responsibility of the university and its students toward the community, helping local residents welcome a warmer and more meaningful Lunar New Year.

The projects and tasks of the Spring Volunteer Campaign not only bring practical efficiency but also strengthen the close relationship between the university and the local community.
