On March 18, 2026, the Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade (HUIT) organized the 2025 Party Building Review and 2026 Focal Tasks Deployment Conference. The event was attended by members of the Party Executive Committee, committees of affiliated party cells, and all Party members within the University's Party Organization. This was a significant occasion for the University’s Party Committee to comprehensively review the results of Party building work in 2025, evaluate achievements, frankly acknowledge existing limitations, and clearly identify key directions and focal tasks for 2026.

The conference welcomed the presence of Meritorious Teacher, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hoan – Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector of the University; Dr. Phan Xuan Cuong – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Inspection Commission, Head of the Department of Student Affairs; Meritorious Teacher, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thị Hong Anh – Party Committee Member, Vice Rector; and Dr. Thai Doan Thanh – Party Committee Member, Vice Rector. Also in attendance were members of the Party Executive Committee, the Party Inspection Commission, committees of 16 affiliated party cells, and all Party members of the University’s Party Organization.

During the conference, Comrade Phan Xuan Cuong – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, presented the Report on the 2025 Party Building Review and Directions and Tasks for 2026. The report serves as a crucial foundation for the entire Party Organization to evaluate the execution of political tasks, organizational development, inspection, and supervision, while unifying solutions to enhance the operational quality of the Party organization in the coming period.

Following the report, the conference proceeded to the discussion session under the moderation of Comrade Nguyen Xuan Hoan – Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector of the University. The exchanges and contributions focused on the content of the review report while proposing numerous practical solutions to further improve the leadership capacity and combativeness of grass-roots Party organizations, promoting the pioneering and exemplary roles of Party members across the university.

Within the framework of the program, the conference announced the Commendation Decisions for 03 affiliated party cells and 76 Party members who achieved the title of "Outstanding Task Completion" in 2025. This is a worthy recognition for collectives and individuals who made prominent contributions to Party building work, contributing to the promotion of emulation, responsibility, and dedication throughout the Party Organization.

After a period of serious, responsible, and effective work, the conference concluded having fulfilled all scheduled program contents. The success of the conference continues to affirm the comprehensive leadership of the HUIT Party Committee in building a clean and strong Party Organization, contributing to the successful realization of the University's development goals in the new era.
